Covid 19 Update info

On 23 April 2020 Government announced that as of 1 May 2020 South Africa will be moving into level 4 of the National Lockdown.

Although we will continue to work at this time mostly from home, we are pleased to announce that we are preparing for a phased-in return to the office. We will, however, strictly adhere to the regulations as published by Government with the intention of rendering quality service and at the same time ensuring to keep physical interaction at a minimum, so as to safeguard the physical health and wellbeing of our staff as well as our clients and colleagues.

We have received confirmation, from various stakeholders in our profession, that we should be in a position to access the Masters’ office, Deeds’ office, various councils for clearances, CIPC and various courts during level 4 of the National Lockdown, however, we are still awaiting directions from our professional body as to the extent this would be possible and how this will impact on the services rendered to our clients.  Any further developments as well as our phased-in return strategy and guidelines will be published on our website and our Facebook page in due course.

To limit physical interaction, we suggest that consultations be conducted by one of our attorneys, by appointment, by either telephonic consultation, Skype, Zoom and/or Whatsapp video call.  Should you wish to make use of these services we kindly request that you direct an email to one of our attorneys (with contact details below) to arrange such a consultation.

Should you, however, be in need of service, which require your attendance at our offices, same will be conducted strictly per appointment and under strict compliance with the regulations as aforesaid which measures will be communicated to you upon confirmation of such appointment.

During level 4 of the National Lockdown we are not permitted to trade with our entire staff complement, in office, during our normal business hours.  In this regard, we kindly urge all clients and colleagues to give due regard to the aforesaid guidelines and any further procedures and/or guidelines published on our social media platforms and website.
